Skin panels are lab-based wellness tests designed to provide insight into internal factors that may influence your skin’s health, such as hormones, inflammation, nutrient levels, and overall balance. These panels help identify internal patterns that can contribute to concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, dryness, sensitivity, or slow skin healing.
At Penthouse Skin Lab, skin panels are part of our Skin Blueprint approach. The process begins with lab data, which is then paired with a professional facial skin analysis to create a personalized, long-term skin strategy that guides both in-studio treatments and at-home care.
Some skin panels require a small blood sample. When applicable, blood collection is performed in studio by a trained professional and sent to a certified laboratory for analysis. Results are used for informational and wellness purposes only and do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
How often skin panels are recommended depends on your goals:
• For baseline insight or preventative skin planning, panels are often completed once per year.
• For active skin concerns or corrective phases, panels may be recommended every 6–12 months to track progress and adjust your plan.
• For ongoing skin maintenance, repeat testing is optional and based on individual needs.
Skin panels are not required for every client or every facial. They are an optional tool designed to support deeper understanding, intentional skin planning, and long-term results.
All services at Penthouse Skin Lab are esthetic and wellness-focused and do not replace care from a licensed medical provider.
Skin panels are ideal for clients experiencing persistent or recurring skin concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, dryness, sensitivity, inflammation, or slow healing, especially when topical treatments alone haven’t delivered lasting results. They are also helpful for clients who want a deeper understanding of how internal factors like hormones, nutrients, and stress may be affecting their skin and are ready for a more intentional, long-term approach.
No. Skin Blueprint Facials are intentionally paired with skin panels. This experience is designed to connect lab-based internal insights with a professional facial analysis to create a fully informed, long-term skin strategy.
If you prefer not to complete lab testing, we recommend choosing a Foundational Facial or Corrective Facial. These options follow a more traditional, results-driven esthetic approach and can still deliver meaningful improvements based on your skin’s needs.
Skin panels are what differentiate the Skin Blueprint experience and allow us to move beyond surface-level treatment into root-cause–informed care.
All services at Penthouse Skin Lab are esthetic and wellness-focused and do not replace medical care.
At Penthouse Beauté (Penthouse Skin Lab), we offer a tiered facial experience designed to support your skin at every stage — from foundational care to corrective treatments and data-driven skin planning.
• Foundational Facials – Designed to reset, nourish, and maintain healthy skin. These treatments focus on cleansing, hydration, barrier support, and overall skin balance. Ideal for new clients, sensitive skin, or those beginning a consistent skin care routine.
• Corrective Facials – Target specific skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, acne, texture, congestion, and uneven tone. These treatments incorporate advanced exfoliation and corrective protocols to improve skin function and visible results over time.
• Skin Blueprint Facials – A diagnostic-driven experience guided first by lab data, followed by an in-depth facial skin analysis. This treatment connects internal insights with external skin concerns to identify root causes, personalize the facial protocol, and create a long-term treatment and home-care strategy.
All facials are customized based on your skin needs and goals and include professional analysis, education, and personalized recommendations. Our services are esthetic and wellness-focused and do not replace medical care.
Choosing the right facial depends on your current skin needs, goals, and whether you’re seeking maintenance, correction, or deeper insight.
• Choose a Foundational Facial if you’re new to professional facials, need hydration or barrier repair, have sensitive or reactive skin, or want consistent maintenance without aggressive treatments.
• Choose a Corrective Facial if you’re targeting specific concerns such as hyperpigmentation, acne, congestion, uneven texture, or dullness and are ready to work on visible skin changes over time.
• Choose a Skin Blueprint Facial if you want a deeper, data-driven approach. This facial is guided first by lab data and then by a detailed facial analysis to identify internal and external factors affecting your skin and to create a personalized long-term skin strategy.
• If you’re unsure, we recommend booking either a Foundational Facial or a Consultation. Both options allow your provider to assess your skin and guide you toward the most appropriate treatment plan.
Our services are esthetic and wellness-focused and do not replace medical care.
Facial frequency depends on your skin type, concerns, and treatment goals.
• Foundational Facials: Every 4–6 weeks to maintain hydration, barrier health, and overall skin balance.
• Corrective Facials: Every 2–4 weeks during an active correction phase, then transitioning to maintenance as results improve.
• Skin Blueprint Facials: Scheduled based on your personalized skin plan and lab insights. Initial sessions may be closer together, followed by maintenance visits as recommended by your provider.
If you’re unsure, your provider will guide you during your visit and create a schedule that supports long-term skin health without over-treating the skin.
Our services are esthetic and wellness-focused and do not replace medical care.

While the exact time frame for seeing results can vary based on your skin type and the specific facial treatment you receive, most clients notice an improvement in their skin's texture, tone, and overall appearance within a few days of their appointment. To maintain these results, we recommend regular facial treatments and a personalized at-home skincare routine. Our licensed estheticians are always happy to provide guidance and product recommendations to help you achieve your skincare goals.
You may be more sensitive during this time or a couple of days before and after, however you may wax during your menstrual cycle. Please place in a new tampon right before your appointment and wipes are provided. Please keep track of your cycle. If you decide not to wax on your period and did not cancel your appointment in time then a fee will still be charge.
Exfoliation will help some discoloration, however lightening treatments may be more beneficial. Visit (book now to view lightening treatments).
I have a lot of ingrowns / razor bumps what should I do?
Booking a Vajacial or Ingrown treatment will help with those pesky ingrown. As well as using our recommend homecare products to use in between your appointments for maintenance. We will give you a thorough consultation when you book your appointment as well.
• For 24/48hrs after your wax you should avoid sauna’s, swimming pools, Jacuzzi’s, tanning beds and hot showers.
• Avoid excessive sweat (working out), friction, sex and tight clothing.
• Please DO exfoliate 48hrs after your appointment at least 2x-3x a week.
• Keep your skin moisturize by using our signature yoni oil.
• Wear cotton underwear after a fresh wax.
• Use mild / natural soaps after waxing to avoid irritation to your skin.
There are many benefits to maintaining a regular waxing cycle. Waxing regularly will cause the hair to grow back finer, thinner, and sparser. We have three different hair growth cycles; please take into consideration that you may not be 100% smooth for your first wax. We recommend trusting us for at least 4 waxing services to experience the full benefits.
We use a combination of both hard and soft waxes to create a personalized experience to better meet your hair removal needs. We use Hard Wax on the Bikini Area, Underarms, and some Facial Waxing. Soft Wax is used for all other services. You can request hard wax for a service that is usually done with soft wax for an additional fee.
If you have extremely sensitive skin and your pain tolerance is med/high a sugaring wax can be booked. If you are normal skin, you may book a regular hard wax then your next first I would recommend sugaring once your hair is denser. However, this is only a recommendation all clients are not the same and you may book any appointment you may want to try.
Sugaring is a more natural form of waxing. Since, it is made with only sugar, lemon juice and water it is great for people with sensitive skin. You can also not get burned from sugar since it warms up to your body temperature. Surging can be a great for ingrown's since it can wrap around the hair follicle better.
We will not lie to you; waxing can be uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but you can expect a short, stinging like sensation after strips are pulled. We recommend taking an ibuprofen about 30 minutes before your appointment. (Please consult your physician before taking any medication).
Numbing creams are available in certain stores however, we do not provide any and do not recommend them. Only because if it works and the wax is a little warm you will not be able to tell if the temperature is too uncomfortable for you furthermore, some creams/ sprays leave a residue behind which makes it harder for the wax or sugar to grab your hair.
